Scripture is the lens through which we view the world - including human behavior. We will use the Bible to establish truth in what God intended for man - to live a victorious life!

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." -John 17:17

Biblical counseling is "the study of the soul - using Scripture, as a science to understand the mind and our behavior". 

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." -2 Timothy 3:16–17.

At its foundation, one must be committed to the authority of God's Word to articulate the nature of the soul and human behavior - realizing there are times both biblical and secular counseling will work hand-in-hand.

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." -Galatians 5:1
