One Marine's raw, unfiltered account of falling from grace as a husband, father, and Christian — and the long road back through accountability, repentance, and the redemptive power of God.

The Book
This is a book about one man's fall from grace and the journey back. In these pages, we explore learning to recognize our fallen condition, our need for accountability, and our privilege and ability to trust our heavenly Father to make a way out of our self-imposed wilderness.
Sometimes, the road to recovery must start with disaster — but overcoming sin addiction is not only recovery, but redemption. Mike Farrell — Marine, husband, father, and Christian — sounds the alarm to those caught in the destructive grip of addiction through real-life accounts of his own journey.

Reader Reviews
"This book is an account of one man's brave account in facing and beating sin. The honesty of his story is awe-inspiring. I love the Bible parallels in his fall from grace. I have shared with many people because we are all sinners and this book will show oneself how to conquer sin through the grace of God."
— Pamela
"This book is wonderfully written for anyone who has an active or past sin addiction. The transparency in this book is comforting and I am so thankful to share it with others."
— Heidi Hilburn
"In a uniquely personal way, the author shows the way sin preys upon the believer and the nature of the battle Christians privately face. In a world of pretense, this book shows an honest love for Christ, and the grace and mercy Christ has reserved for every believer."
— Cody Farrell
"His honesty in putting forth his sin and addiction cannot compare to any other book I have read. He describes the hold of sin on his life, how he faced it, and how God helped him restore his life. An encouragement and a reminder that God is the God of Second Chances."
— John K. Siefert

About the Author
Mike Farrell is a Marine veteran, husband, father, and Christian who knows what it means to fall — and what it costs. His story is not a comfortable one. It is the story of a man who failed the people he loved most, who was consumed by the destructive power of sin addiction, and who was brought to his knees.
It is also the story of a God who does not abandon His children. Through accountability, repentance, and the grace of Christ, Mike found his way back — and now he shares that journey so others don't have to walk it alone.
"Dismissed" is his first book. The podcast is his ongoing commitment to walk alongside those still in the fight.
